Cheating is weak and despicable. I always say that I’m one and done. Now there are definitely forgivable circumstances. I came across this article written by an infidelity expert and various marriage counselors have determined the most common reasons they believe men cheat.

Because they had the option

-There’s an old saying, “Men are only as faithful as their options”. Men don’t get offered googling as much as women so it’s hard for them to turn down if the option presents itself.

It boosts their ego

-When a man starts feeling insecure about his level of attractiveness he wants his ego stroked. The thrill of the chase is enticing to a man even if he’s in a committed relationship.

Advice: Pump up his ego occasionally.

You have grown apart

-After a certain period of time, people’s true colors are revealed. The girl that at first proclaimed to love sports and drinking beer now only wants to watch reality tv and drink martinis. He then comes across a girl who loves watching golf and you’re out of the picture. Stay involved in eachother’s lives. I say my parents grew apart b/c they always did their own thing. Make him go to that play but you have to suck it up sometimes and go play golf or go gambling if he wants. If you never spend time together-how do you expect to have anything in common?

You argue a lot

-I’d say being stubborn is one of my biggest flaws. I NEVER want to be wrong no matter what. This had been fatal for some of my relationships. men will cheat to escape an overly critical or argumentative partner. Why would he want to be around you when all you do is fight?

But just as being too argumentative is problematic.The same goes for being too lenient. He wants to see if he can get away with it

-there are many times we as a woman may never find out about a one night stand or even an affair. He thinks “ah, what she doesn’t know won’t hurt her” and gets a thrill out of it.

Advice: many women keep me on too loose of a leash and wants to challenge the barriers. Set groundrules for eachother-what you’re comfortable with. Don’t let him get away with everything. NOT helping around the house.

He’s fallen out of love with you

-I know this one’s hard to hear but sometimes a guy gets so comfortable in a relationship that cheating is easier than leaving. Then there’s the possibility of him staying just for financial reasons or if there’s children involved. The complacency can cause him to stray.

Your level of intimacy sucks or is non-existent

-I don’t know how women think a man is going to stay faithful if you’re only intimate a few times a year, or even month. It takes effort to keep things interesting and if things become stagnant or disappear, he is going to cheat.

He yearns for something new, different, and exciting

-If he’s eating steak and potatoes for dinner every single night what happens when he wants seafood? Or Mexican? This is why men don’t always cheat with someone more attractive. It’s just simply DIFFERENT and more exciting.

Advice: keep the excitement going

Because you have allowed it in the past

-if you’ve forgiven a cheating man before, he may think he can get away with it again. It depends on the punishment you enforce the first time. I have never forgiven cheating before but I don’t think it’s ALWAYS unforgiveable.

Advice: You have to make sure he pays for his sin. Don’t get back together with him immediately even if u think you will eventually. He needs to reflect for a LONG time. I say 6 months minimum.

I am loving this new trend in nail polish. Instead of the normal, shiny polish with glitter, the new ones are all matte. It especially looks good in all the fall colors. My favorite is the gray-it will go with everything. I really recommend buying a couple of your favorite shades so you don’t have to waste money at the salon every time you want to get your nails done!

-Make a demo tape. Make sure you are on camera all the time. Be loud, be extreme and show them your personality. Check to make sure you can hear and see yourself clearly when recording.

-When filling out an application, No one word answers. Be in depth and real, I know it’s tough, but put some sort of effort into it. Read what it says and always follow instructions.

-If possible, research the show you want to be on.  Learn about the people who made it on the show.

- If there are several audition dates, prepare to go to at least two of them

-Be larger than life. These shows cast people who are interesting to watch. They are looking for individuals that will get them ratings. Having a talent of any kind is helpful here.  It will make you memorable.

- Be confident in who you are and the person you will be on television. Make peace with how you may be portrayed should you be cast. This will make your audition more realistic and true.

- Relax. don’t let your nerves get the best of you. This is your chance to make a great first impression.

-Pick a defining character trait and stick to it. Only the most dedicated of your viewers will ever remember your name, so you have to have a handle like “the Muslim” or “the lesbian” or “the golf pro” so people can talk about you at the water cooler.

-The first key is to either be extremely attractive or extremely disgusting. I am not a dirty person by any means, but I definitely don’t stress over deep-cleaning my apartment. I am terrible about buying all the apartment necessities-they can really add up. Luckily I have found some amazing replacements for around the house problems.

Here ya go:

Alka-seltzer

Clean a toilet. Drop in two Alka-Seltzer tablets, wait twenty minutes, brush, and flush. It can also soothe insect bites. Just dissolve tablets in water and use a wash cloth to apply the liquid to the bites.

Baby powder

Repel ants. Ants will not walk through a line of baby powder. Give your hair a dry shampoo. Work baby powder into your hair, then brush it out. Untangle a chain necklace. Dusting the chain will make it easier to untangle.

Bounce sheets

Rub down hair shaft to get rid of static. Also perfect as a mosquito repellent if you rub a sheet on your arms, legs, and clothes.

Club soda.

Change blond hair dyed green by chlorine back to its original color. Make fluffy pancakes and waffles by substituting club soda for the liquids.

Chapstick.

Stop bleeding while shaving. Dab on some chapstick if you nick yourself. If you have a stuck zipper, rub chapstick along the teeth of the zipper to make it unstick.

Colgate

I put a dab of toothpaste on before I go to bed at night if I need to dry up pimples. Deodorize smelly hands by using it to wash them with water. Remove Kool-aid moustaches from kids’ faces.

Cool whip

Slather it on if you have a sunburn. Thaw frozen fish by placing it in a pan and cover with Cool Whip.  The desert topping eliminates the frozen taste, returning the fresh-caught flavor. Also, Condition your hair. Apply one-half cup Cool Whip to dry hair once a week as a conditioner.  Leave on for thirty minutes, then rinse a few times before shampooing thoroughly. Soothe the burn on the roof of your mouth from hot pizza. Fill your mouth with Cool Whip to coat the lesion.

And it is sure to help marital relations…

Clear nail polish

Have a run in your tights? Prevent fabric from fraying. Protect shirt buttons. Paint over the center of the button to reinforce the threads. Repair a small dent in a window, auto windshield, or wood floor.

Floss

Not just for your teeth. You can use it to hang pics and as a knife replacement for slicing cake and cheese. Kidd might want to think about using this method.

Reynolds wrap foil

Keep dogs and cats off furniture. Place pieces of Reynolds Wrap on the furniture. The sound of rustling foil frightens pets. Clean pots and pans when camping. A crumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wraps makes an excellent pot scrubber. Speed up your ironing. Place a piece of aluminum foil under the ironing board cover to reflect the heat from the iron.

Vodka

Put on a cotton ball and rub on face to tighten up pores. Also it can help relieve swimmers ear, relieve a sore throat, clean off lipstick from clothing, and remove bumper sticker from car

Honey

Mix w banana for facial mask, eat on crackers to flush out alcohol when hungover, and Make children sleepy at bedtime and help prevent small children from wetting the bed. A teaspoon of honey at bedtime will act as a sedative to a child’s nervous system and will attract and hold fluid in a child’s body when they are sleeping. Honey should not be fed to infants under one year of age.

I know some of you stayed out a little too long in the sun this weekend and getting dressed this morning probably didn’t feel too good. Sometimes lotion just doesn’t get the job done so what are some crazy home remedies that burn pros say are guaranteed to work?
